"There is a transcendent quality to Brooklyn based Heaven’s latest single “Telepathic Love” - title-track of the psych rock trio's upcoming album."
--Dave Cromwell, Deli Magazine
"Heaven is a Brooklyn dream syndicate planted firmly between the 1985 crossroads of Paisley Underground shamble and noisepop blast...an abrasive blast of sheet-metal feedback doing its noble best to hide some spectral, Spectoral harmonies."
--Christopher Weingarten, Village Voice
"Seductively cool, loud and pretty, soft and spaced-out, yet very approachable, it’s everything that’s to be expected of this uniquely gifted songwriter and musician. "
--John Bergstrom, Pop Magazine
"Layers of keyboards and guitar noise over a solid beat provide a foundation upon which their impeccable vocal harmonies can uplift and entrance."
--Julian Woolsey, Rock Edition
"There is a new band in Brooklyn -- Heaven -- they play my favorite song."
--Dean Wareham, of Galaxie 500

GNR031 | Adam Franklin & Bolts of Melody / Heaven

Split 7"

From 1990 to 1998 Adam Franklin was the singer, guitarist and main songwriter for London-based Swervedriver; contemporaries of and label mates with My Bloody Valentine and Ride but with a more adrenalized rock ‘n’ roll sound, showing flashes of Husker Du and Sonic Youth. Adam has released three full-length albums under his own name and has a fourth in the works. Swervedriver is currently on tour in the US with Heaven opening all dates.

Heaven is a new collaboration from New Yorkers Matt Sumrow (The Comas, Dean and Britta, Ambulance LTD), Mikey Jones (The Big Sleep, Adam Franklin, Snowden), and Ryan Lee Dunlap (Fan-Tan). Sumrow and Jones created Heaven in the wake of touring and recording with other artists. Last summer, they both worked with the aforementioned Adam Franklin, of Swervedriver fame.

In the most perfect combination, they have put their own stamp on psychedelia and new wave, giving a nod to the artists they have respected and played with, while also creating something modern and unique. They must be both seen and heard.

This split 7” is limited to 600 copies on Pink vinyl! Get it!
