Independent Label Market - this Saturday
Remember the cartoons where the stout, barrel-chested bulldog slowly struts across the junkyard, hatching some kind of revenge plot against the wily alley cat, while the pipsqueak sidekick Chihuahua circles in his legs and says “yea, boss! Great idea boss!”?
Come watch us be the Chihuahua to a bunch of super cool bulldog record labels that will all be showcasing their wares, some super special limited edition items smelted from highly unstable precious metals included (we hear Matador is going to roll up in a ’63 Pontiac with 24 inch Neptunium record-rims), and hang out. The whole thing will be happening at Smorsgasburg, which is a gastronomical delight all by itself. Keith is gonna be doing Kombucha keg-stands while David periodically sneaks off little chorizo niblets from the South American food trucks to store them away for the long winter ahead. Miguel will be kntrling the nation’s capital, but will hopefully make an appearance, and by make an appearance we of course mean uppercut a few Swedish tourists (it’s just some severely misplaced industrial design envy).
